Whether you want to line dance or get your guests on the dance floor, the Silk Street Bluegrass Band is one of the most unique groups on our roster. Their repertoire draws on the classic recordings of Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, Del McCoury, Reno and Smiley. However, they also perform their own inimitable takes on a handful of contemporary pop classics.
The Artists take pride in a raw energetic sound encompassed with rich vocal harmonies. The band is comprised of experienced professional musicians who between them have toured and recorded with the likes of Madness, Mika, The European Camerata, The London Jazz Orchestra, Dr. John and Girls Aloud. However, when you hear them you will be in no doubt that their hearts lie in playing Bluegrass.
With considerable experience performing together at festivals across the south of England as well as several venues in London and France, the Silk Street Bluegrass Band will bring a real sense of excitement and life to any party or wedding. The band is available in 3 - 8 piece line-ups, excellent for background and foreground music.
