Making an enquiry with us is easy. Browse our unique portfolio of Artists using the style links to the left hand side, or use our search button to find a particular Artist or style. We are always happy to talk things through with you, so once you have decided which of our Artists you prefer, simply get in contact (by phone or email) and we help you to make that important decision.
Book Early
Our Artists are in high demand and have been known to get booked a whole year before the event date. It is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
How To Make An Enquiry
Before getting in touch to make a booking enquiry, it is extremely helpful if you have the important information to hand, as this will determine your quote and enables us to provide it quicker, use our checklist below to help:
- Full Name & Address (including full postcode)
- Telephone Contact No’s (Mobile, Work, Home number) & Email Address
- Date of Event
- Name of Artist(s) you would like to hire
- Size of the band or the number of musicians you would like to hire
- Start & Finish Time of Performance
- Preferred Performance Timings or sets (3 x 40 or 2 x 60 minute or custom sets)
- Venue Address (Including Post Code)
- Venue Website (if available)
- Your Budget

Please supply us with as many contact details as possible as we may need to contact you regarding your booking enquiry and don’t worry, all of the information we hold is confidential and not passed on to any third parties.
Artist Choices
We recommend that you shortlist the Artists after viewing their profile and before making an enquiry. There are several things to consider when choosing Artists, ranging from the style of music and the size of the band, to the location, atmosphere and do not forget your guests. Read through our Choosing An Artist article for more guidance.
Your Special Day
By already setting the date of your event before contacting us, this allows us to check on the availability of the Artists for you so we can guarantee their availability. Many Artists are in high demand and do get booked up very quickly, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Do not worry if you have not decided on a date yet, we can still give you advice and a guide price.
Performance Details
Have a think about when you would like the Artists to perform. Usually Artists have standard performance timings: 3 x 40 or 2 x 60 minute are common. The most important information you can provide is the location and the start and finish time, as this allows the Artists to commit to your event and perform at other events before or afterwards. Do you require music in the breaks? Would you like the music to be continuous without any gaps? Just let us know your requirements and we will be glad to meet them.
The Venue
Silk Street Music will need the full name and address (including full postcode) of the venue where your event will be held. A website link is often of use as we can use that to gather all the information we need. Budget
Have an approximate idea of the budget you have set aside for entertainment. Silk Street Music always recommends the most suitable Artists so we can meet your spending requirements. There are no hidden costs.
